This is a complete set of traditional Indian head and forehead jewelry, intricately handcrafted with a combination of Kandan work (uncut diamond look) and pearls.
Structure: A flexible gold-toned band that curves to sit across the head, along the hairline.
Motifs: It is composed of a continuous series of uniform, interlocking floral-style clusters.
Stones: Each cluster is densely set with clear Kandan stones (Kundan) that have a prominent facet, creating a high-shine, sparkling effect.
Drops: The bottom edge of the entire band is adorned with small, delicate seed pearls and tiny dangling pearl drops (ghungroos), adding movement and softness.
Central Link: From the middle of the headband, a two-segment pendant hangs down towards the forehead.
Segment 1: A single, smaller kandan floral cluster links the headband to the main pendant.
Main Pendant: The largest part of the piece, this is a beautiful, semi-circular crescent (Chand Bali) design.
Key Feature: This pendant features a distinct central hollow or open loop, which is a classic Chand Bali characteristic.
Stone and Pearl Details: The pendant is richly detailed with kandan stones and has multiple layers of small pearls lining its lower border, with larger, dangling pearl drops at the very bottom.
